Why cash only for amounts

David Z asked: Certain local merchants want you to pay cash for orders under $10. Why is $10 the magic number? Is that simply an amount they feel is not too onerous for customers to pay cash for? Or is the discount fee% higher for a $10 transaction than say a $100 transaction?Loretta
